Library reading rooms are generally divided into three types: general reading rooms, specialized reading rooms, and reference research rooms. Do not make noise in the library, and do not damage books. Library reading rooms are generally divided into three types: general reading rooms, specialized reading rooms, and reference research rooms. General reading rooms are sometimes also called comprehensive reading rooms. They have longer opening hours and simpler procedures. School libraries also have general reading rooms specifically designed for students to provide self-study spaces. These usually do not have books or only have a small number of newspapers, periodicals, and commonly used reference books. Specialized reading rooms are set up to meet the different needs of specific reader groups, making it easier for readers to use a certain range of literature and for librarians to research specific reader groups and specific ranges of literature. They are generally set up according to knowledge categories, reader types, literature types, and languages, such as social science new book reading rooms, teacher reading rooms, microform reading rooms, and foreign periodical reading rooms.
